Discovering Your Future

Discovering Your Future

Getting Real with Your Today

As with many of you, I have hit crossroads in my life as to what should I do next.

This can come from losing a job, a loved one, or even when a business fails.

The next thing you do that crosses your mind is what should you do next?

Some people ask for help from others.  This can be from friends, family, or if they are really seeking a solution they may ask a psychic.

Previously, I talked about your instinct can be linked to insecurity, however, there are times your instinct can really be to your benefit.

Psychic Readings

Last week I was doing a little research on psychic readings.  This article really caught my eye and really hit my interests.

It was one average person in Australia who became a psychic for a short period of time.

The author of the article states what now seems to me as common sense.  This person talks that her abilities really had nothing to do with any mystic arts.  It was something a little bit more common yet most often ignored.

Her renowned psychic abilities were based solely on instinct.  It was the first thing that would come to her mind when someone was asking her about their future.  She could detect people’s passions and then make a prediction based on that.

And you have that same power too.

Freewriting

In my book, Designing Your Own Destiny, I speak of an exercise that you can do at home.  You can even do it right now.

It is called free writing.  It is an exercise that can be seen as supernatural, spiritual, or just tuning into yourself.

I learned about this technique back in 2014 while attending a seminar.

It works like this.

You will need a pen, a notepad, and at least 30 minutes of uninterrupted time.

At the top of the paper put in a letter representing you.  I would use “K = Kevin”.  You use whatever letter to represent you.

This is when the supernatural, spiritual, or tuning into your self comes into play.  You can put “G = God”, “B = Buddha”, “U = Universe”, or whatever you want to write down.  Just use a different letter than you have for your name.

The next step is to make sure you have at least 30 minutes of uninterrupted time.  No phone, no computer, no TV or radio, and definitely no other people.

Then you simply ask yourself a question.  You would write the letter representing you and then a colon and your question.  It can something as simple as: “K: Is anyone there?”

Then you write the letter representing the other self and whatever comes to your mind you write it down.  An example would be “U: I am always here with you.”

Then you continue asking questions.  You can ask more intriguing questions or just some surface ones.

The point is to write down the first thing that comes to your mind.  This is your true instinct answering your question.   Regardless of how “out there” the answer is to write it all down.

When I was in the early phases of writing my third book, The Winner’s Code, I used this technique and came up with 7 of the 8 mindsets covered in this book and I outline the basic chapters in one one-hour session.

Pendulums

Another technique people use to predict the future is by using a pendulum.

A pendulum can be a crystal or any weighted object at the end of a necklace or a chain.

A pendulum can only answer “yes” or “no” questions.

In my experience, I will normalize the pendulum by asking it to show me what a yes answer looks like (e.g., a counter-clockwise direction) and what a no answer looks like (e.g., going from 7:00 to 1:00 diagonal direction).

Many times a yes and no looks exactly the same when it is doing the counter-clockwise direction in very small circles.  In those cases when I am unsure of the answer I ask to “please amplify”.

Linking the Last Two

One afternoon after doing a free writing exercise I did a pendulum exercise.  I was getting the same answers as with the first.

Then I got bold and asked the question that mattered the most.

I asked, “Are you the same person in the freewriting exercise?”

The answer that came through the pendulum floored me.

The answer was, “Yes”.

This all made perfect sense to me.

All you have to do is to trust yourself and your own instinct.

Dowsing Rods

Another technique that people have used is dowsing rods.

Typically, these have been used for detecting water.

I have personally seen these on ghost hunts.  These are used similarly as a pendulum you as “yes” and “no” questions.  People may say something like “Rotate clockwise for yes, and counter-clockwise for no”.  They may say to make them rotate a full circle or to point at things.

If you are doing this yourself you may ask yourself a question with the same responses.

You may even normalize dowsing rods like you would a pendulum.

Bringing It All Home

If you feel that there are outside influences out there and you may be confused about what to do next then using any of the above techniques can be of benefit.

You can find a psychic who may be using their own instincts or you may grab your pendulum or rods and ask yes or no questions.

Or, if you are willing to get some real honest personal answers then try your hand at freewriting.  You may be shocked at the result.
